None of us are getting out of this alive. The life we are living is a direct result of the paths we choose, and the integrity we carry.
The more we expect from ourselves, the more we expect of others.
As your level of self worth rises….you may find the circle of people around you changes. The ones who are still standing beside you, always valued your worth…and the ones who fade away…didn’t.
All the changes and shifts in your life are by design. There are no coincidences.
Everyone can look back and reflect on a time in their life when a challenge seemed insurmountable, people seemed soulless, your voice wasn't being heard, and there were no answers being offered.
And then….seemingly out of nowhere…..one singular event turns everything right side up and it all makes sense. The insurmountable moment is obliterated, the soulless people are no longer in your life, your voice was, in fact, heard, and the answers are all in front of you.. crystal clear.
As these events continue to happen over and over again in your life, when you drop to the floor in despair, and then are lifted back up by invisible wings that fill you with renewed strength …..that is faith.
The power of faith will never quit on you, even when you begin to quit on yourself. Wake up, and show up…every single day. Because every single day there is a miracle waiting. If you don't show up…you miss your chance at it.
This journey I have been on to create a moose rehabilitation/sanctuary has been on the chopping block more than once. Location challenges, legal challenges, you name it, I’ve dealt with it.
But because I woke up every day, and showed up…..that sanctuary is closer than it's ever been, to becoming a reality. A beautiful new property has presented itself and it is even more perfect than the last one.
It will be North Idaho’s first moose retreat designed to offer a safe place for baby calves left behind by their mothers, sick and injured moose needing medical care mother nature cannot provide, and at all times they are free to come and go as they please. I’ve rescued numerous babies, and they welcome the help they need…..and they leave when they know it is time.
Along this journey, I have dealt with some extremely unsavory people, but those people became my biggest motivation.
People that set a low bar for themselves have no room in your life.
Set the bar high……and keep it there.
Those invisible wings will continue to lift you up and guide you.
Life was much more challenging when I was trying to make everything happen.
The miracles began, when I let go and leaned in to faith.
I couldn't carry the weight on my shoulders anymore, but I had to reach a place of humility that allowed my heart to hear what my head could not.
So let go, and reaffirm the faith that comforts you.
It's all going to work out exactly as it is supposed to.
