It's All We Have

Faith.

That you are where you are supposed to be.

That today you will have everything you need.

That a single joyous moment will fill your heart and remind you what matters.

That the people you love will continue to be safe as they travel on their journey.

That you are reminded ‘prosperity’ is measured in gratitude and humility.

And that tomorrow will come, with even more reasons to be grateful.

I love that life keeps you guessing.  We think we want predictability…but predictability doesn’t inspire.  It is a state of constant……but not a state of growth.

When we are made uncomfortable, or we are challenged…..we grow.  We gain confidence, we become more self reliant, and our soul is validated as we conquer each challenge, or setback, with our inner strength and fortitude.

We don’t always realize how strong we are until we get pushed to the edge.

The key is to set aside the drama, the hurt feelings, the betrayal, or whatever it is that is standing in your way…….and remain in gratitude.  Remain in grace.

Don’t allow the toxic elements to seep into your pores….because then you become a part of it.  It’s not always easy to do.  Actually, it’s hardly ever easy to do.:)  But standing in gratitude allows the ‘gifts’ to work their way in.  Pieces start to fit together……the ‘ah-ha’ moments start to happen……your smile comes back… truths reveal themselves….challenges become attainable…..and the next thing you know, you are re-centered and balanced once again.

That is the beauty of life.

So many people say’’everything happens for a reason’…and it sounds a bit trite….but it's so true.  Every decision, every happenstance, and even decisions to do nothing……put you right where you are supposed to be.

Let go of trying to ‘get there’ and celebrate ‘being there’.  Because that is today….and today is all you have as a certainty. Take the time to look around you and be grateful. Focus more on what you have, and not as much on what you want.

Life seems to be going faster and faster the older I get, and I catch myself missing some great moments because I was too focused on making tomorrow happen.

Enjoy the day, soak up the sunsets, and the rest will come in its own time.

But thats just my opinion….:)
